Term 5 - Sequential Art and Visual Narrative

The links that follow are my coursework assignments completed through my college education thus far. For each I will provide a brief description of the assignment and present my completed assignment.

Week 1 - Research the role of sequential art as per specifications provided by instructor.

Week 2 - The shot analysis is the critique of a film, animation, or video game sequence as per specifications provided by instructor.

Week 3 - Project 1 phase 1- Phase One - Scene Use the Writing the Visual Narrative Handout to help you research potential story ideas as per specifications provided by instructor.

Week 4 - Please complete Phases Two and Three of Key Graded Assignment #1 as per specifications provided by instructor.

Week 5 - Please complete Phases Four – Seven of Key Graded Assignment #1 as per specifications provided by instructor.

Week 6 - Create a storyboard using the specifications provided by instructor.

Week 7 - When creating animatics, sequential artists need to consider how characters move or walk within an environment. For this activity, create a simple action of a character throwing a footbal as per specifications provided by instructor.

Week 8 - Write a creative brief for a new children’s cereal targeted to kids 5-12 years of age as per specifications provided by instructor.

Week 9 - Create the beginnings of a portfolio as per specifications provided by instructor.
